What is Vex Robotics?

VEX Robotics prepares students for the jobs of tomorrow and empowers educators with the tools to teach these sought-after 21st century skills. As the name suggests, VEX Robotics is an educational robotics program to teach robotics and computer science to primary students all the way through to high school and university students. Students work collaboratively in teams to solve problems while developing respect and conflict management skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills. Students can then take their VEX Robotics’ creation to competitions, where they showcase their skills. This is where the fun starts and the real-world learning begins! Students work collaboratively, in teams, using VEX Robotics components, to solve an engineering problem, which is presented in a form of a game. Through competition, students hone their problem-solving skills and develop respect for other teams/students through conflict management and communication skills.
